NBC’s Today Show anchor Ann Curry bungee jumped from Teesside Bridge in England after viewers donated $10,000 to United Way and Save the Children. Articles on this leap for charity appeared in news around the world including The Washington Post and BBC.

Target's Share-a-Tree Success
Target’s 17th annual Share-a-Tree program was once again a success with media coverage in local newspapers across the country, including the Yuma Sun (Arizona) and Tricities.com (Virginia).

NCL Companies Featured in New York Times
On December 11, United Way of America ran a full-page ad in the New York Times recognizing our National Corporate Leaders and their employees and retirees for their generous support of communities through United Way.

Kellogg Company Shows United Way Spirit
The Battle Creek Enquirer ran an article featuring the Kellogg Company’s commitment to supporting their community through United Way. In late September, Kellogg’s employees rounded out months of fundraising activities including basketball, bowling and a motorcycle rally in an effort to gain support for the 2007 Community Solutions Campaign. A sold-out crowd of more than 250 individuals participated in this year’s golf outing and a record 180 Kellogg employees, friends and family participated in the 3rd Annual Kellogg’s United Way Bowling event. Thank you to the Kellogg Company and your employees for putting so much energy into supporting United Way in making lasting changes in the communities where your employees live and work.
