The retreat was held at the United Way of America headquarters near Washington, DC.

Monument Tour with Anthony Pitch
As a special welcome to Washington, DC, we took a moonlight tour of our nation's monuments with award-winning author Anthony Pitch.
Saturday, Oct 25
Town Hall Dinner
After a day of workshops, we shared dinner Saturday at the new Busboys & Poets, a gathering place considered a community resource for DC's artists, activists, writers, thinkers and dreamers.
Sunday, Oct 26
Service Project
Before heading back home, we we packed seasonal gift bags for local homeless men, women and children served by Carpenter's Shelter in Alexandria, VA.
