Deloitte Maximum Impact Video Contest Winner Announced
Congratulations to Housing 2 – The BCG’s, for "How we do Spring Break", their winning video capturing their remodel of Alice Davis’ damaged kitchen in Houston’s Fifth Ward. Deloitte will make a donation to the United Way Hurricane Recovery Fund in their names. Each team member will also receive a $50 American Express gift certificate. Thank you to everyone who participated in the video contest. All of you produced terrific videos that will remind all of us of our terrific experience at ASB. Watch all of the videos again
This year, nearly 300 young people gathered from across the country to spend spring break advancing the common good and showing what it means to LIVE UNITED. They came to St. Bernard’s Parrish near New Orleans, LA; Detroit, MI; Terre Haute, IN; Houston, TX, and Biloxi, MS. They volunteered more than 12,000 hours in projects focused on disaster
recovery and community change in Education, Income, and Health. They raised more than $22,268 to make this work possible. They showed the world what young people can do and that we care about our communities.
