Student United Way

Student United Way chapters are student-led community change organizations on college and university campuses. Student leaders advance the common good, develop leadership skills and join the growing United Way movement by giving, advocating and volunteering on campus and in the community. They also take on special projects to create lasting change, such as helping build a Born Learning Trail, raising awareness of the Earned Income Tax Credit and organizing campus-specific special projects. Upon graduation, student leaders of United Way campus chapters join an alumni network that helps them stay involved in community change for the long term.

United Way’s Campus Engagement work is supported by Deloitte, FedEx, Gatorade, and CheapTickets.
